Our Story

Court and Rebecca Andersen started the Wake ‘N Bakery in 2003 when Court began baking desserts for local businesses in Glacier. Soon after they decided to pair those delicious baked goods with coffee, and in December 2004, they served the first latte on the porch of the Glacier Ski Shop. With an espresso machine, a batch of fresh-baked scones, and a passion for all things good, the Wake 'N Bakery was born.

 

Eventually we outgrew the comfy confines of the Ski Shop porch and purchased our current location in 2010. With new room to rise, we expanded offerings to customers, crafting house staples like our famous Magic Bars. After many years of hard work and serving the community, Court and Rebecca were ready for a change. In 2019 they sold the Wake N' Bakery to Drew Schwehr and Jen Henson and relocated to Oregon. 

 

When Jen and Drew visited the Wake N' Bakery they immediately fell in love. They quickly got to work adding their personal touch while still keeping it true to the original spirit. Since the changeover they have done some major renovations to increase outdoor seating options and to create much needed space in the kitchen to keep up with demand. They have also expanded the menu to include more savory options, and perhaps most exciting of all, started offering live music and BBQs on summer weekends!
